Eligibility
Nationality
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, or specified East African countries with the intent to settle permanently in India.
Note: Non-Indian candidates require a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India.

18–27 years (born between 02 January 1999 and 01 January 2008).

Educational Qualification (as on 01 January 2026)
- LDC/JSA, DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (except specific ministries): 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
- DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Culture, SSC): 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject.
Note: Candidates appearing for 12th exams can apply but must possess the qualification by 01 January 2026. Open and Distance Learning degrees are valid if approved by UGC’s Distance Education Bureau. Check Jobwill.in for eligibility tips!

How to Apply
- Visit https://ssc.gov.in or the SSC mobile app to submit your online application between 23 June 2025 and 18 July 2025.
- Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC website if not already done.
- Pay the fee (Rs. 100, exemptions for women, SC, ST, PwBD, ESM) by 19 July 2025 (23:00 hours).
- Correct your application, if needed, from 23 July 2025 to 24 July 2025 (23:00 hours) for Rs. 200 (first correction) or Rs. 500 (second correction).
- Prepare for Tier-I (08 September–18 September 2025) and Tier-II (February–March 2025).
