Eligibility
Nationality

Marital Status

Physical Standards
Candidates must meet the following physical requirements:
- Minimum Height: 157 cm for both male and female candidates.
- Visual Standards: Corrected vision of 6/6 in each eye. Uncorrected vision of 6/12 in each eye is acceptable for initial screening.
- Tattoos: Permanent tattoos are permitted only on the inner forearms (from elbow to wrist) and the back/palm of the hand. Tattoos elsewhere will lead to disqualification.
- Health: Candidates must be in good physical and mental health, free from diseases or disabilities that could interfere with duties ashore or afloat.
Note: Candidates should get their ears cleaned for wax and tartar removed from teeth before the medical examination to avoid disqualification.
Salary and Benefits
Agniveers will receive a customized monthly package starting at ₹30,000, with fixed yearly increments, plus allowances for risk, hardship, dress, and travel. A Seva Nidhi package, combining personal and government contributions, will be provided upon completion of the 4-year tenure.

Additional Benefits and Terms
- Life Insurance: Non-contributory cover of ₹48 Lakh during the 4-year tenure.
- Death Compensation: Ex-gratia payment of ₹48 Lakh for death attributable to service, in addition to insurance.
- Disability Compensation: Ex-gratia of ₹44 Lakh (100% disability), ₹25 Lakh (75%), or ₹15 Lakh (50%), based on disability percentage.

Selection Process
The selection process for Agniveer MR Musician involves multiple stages to assess academic, musical, physical, and medical fitness:
