RRC NR Apprentice Recruitment 2025: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway has released the official notification (RRC/NR/05/2025/Act Apprentice) for the engagement of 4116 Act Apprentices. This is a massive opportunity for 10th Pass + ITI candidates to get trained in various Clusters like Lucknow, Ambala, Delhi, and Firozpur. There is NO Written Exam; selection will be purely based on Merit (Average of 10th & ITI Marks). The application window is open from 25th November to 24th December 2025.

Detailed Eligibility Criteria
1. Education Qualification
Must have passed SSC/Matriculation/10th Class (10+2 system) with minimum 50% Marks.
PLUS
Must have passed ITI in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT recognized).
Note: Candidates awaiting results are NOT eligible.
2. Age Limit (as on 24.12.2025)
15 to 24 Years
Upper Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 Years (Upto 29 Years)
- OBC: 3 Years (Upto 27 Years)
- PwBD: 10 Years (Upto 34 Years)
- Ex-Servicemen: Upto 10 Years + Service Period
RRC NR Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Selection Process (Merit Mode)
There will be NO Written Test or Viva. The merit list will be prepared based on the average of percentage marks obtained in:
1. Matriculation (10th)
Minimum 50% aggregate marks required.
2. ITI Examination
Marks obtained in the relevant trade.
Final Merit
Average of (1) + (2). Equal weightage given to both.
Tie-Breaking Rule: Candidate with older age is preferred. If DOB is same, candidate passing Matriculation earlier is preferred.
