Eligibility

Nationality

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, or specified East African countries with the intent to settle permanently in India.

Note: Candidates from Nepal, Bhutan, or migrant categories need a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India.

Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025)

  • Stenographer Grade ‘C’: 18 to 30 years (born between 02 August 1995 and 01 August 2007)
  • Stenographer Grade ‘D’: 18 to 27 years (born between 02 August 1998 and 01 August 2007)

Educational Qualification (as on 01 August 2025)

Candidates must have passed the 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized Board or University to qualify for 12th Pass Government Jobs.
